Aromatics Elixir™ Eau de Parfum 45ml

Sad! this will be my last order to my beloved perfume that I used for many years. Smells won't last long anymore. I don't know what you do to this product.

I have been using this fragrance for about 50 years, and am delighted to say my grandchildren call it “nana’s perfume” which thankfully they do like and recognise even when they smell it on others. It makes me feel very together and the last thing which I put on when about to leave the house

Worn this for years, so many people have commented that it suits me and not to change it! So I don’t.

I have always loved this perfume and have previously had people stop me to ask what it is. I recently bought my latest bottle but the smell is weaker. I have to spray far too much for anyone to smell it. It's definitely changed. I'm so disappointed ??. Why do companies have to do this when they had a perfect product in the first place!

As many customers have stated , I have been using this beautiful perfume for approx. 50 years !! lovely lovely perfume and had many loyal customers. I intended using Clinique indefinitely as I loved it so much, but now it is just not the same why oh why would you change such a winning formal. What with that and the lipstick I loved (Fab pop) has been discontinued, I will no longer bother to even look at Clinique products - if they don't value my custom, I am not interested in what they offer for sale now!

Like many fragrances used by my generation we find the we return to those ones we loved in the past. I was curious that you mention Oak Moss as a base note. Because, the difference in the new formula was explained in a review I read as being down to the omission of Oak Moss owing to EU rules. Oak Moss being now a conservation issue. So if it's claimed to be in there what is the reason for it smelling so different from the old formula? I have an old bottle with some left and it is much more substantial and full bodied - the fragrance of your current product is that of a knock off product - not like one from the genuine manufacturer. Is it watered down? What's going on Clinique? It's not horrible but it really is so different from before. BTW It's not the only fragrance to suffer in this way.

Exactly what do you need to read or hear before you return this perfume to the way it used to smell? Rather than copying and pasting the same link over and over again in ROBOTIC feedback to loyal clients of decades, actually take the time to explain why you changed the formula and what you're doing to restore it after the overwhelming negative feedback you got. That's what any self-respecting brand would do if it cared about its customers. We don't need you to thank us for our feedback and tell us that you care about it and send us to other links to repeat it, just to give us the fake impression that you're actually doing something. These our the reviews. You changed a long-loved formula. Loyal buyers are furious. FIX IT. Stop deflecting. If you had to cut costs, explain. If some ingredient has become mysterious extinct, explain. Whatever you do, understand that it's MISLEADING communication and UNETHICAL marketing to change a product and sell it under the same name as a previous one without communicating the drastic change and giving buyers the chance to act according. It is in fact a form of theft.

I have complained about the cheap nasty product that aromatics has become and can not understand why a company would look at so many similar reviews and bury their heads in the sand. It is no longer an exclusive product that was a joy to wear. Because of your attitude and not restoring the product to its former glory I refuse to purchase your other products.

Decided to revert back to an old fragrance I used to wear religiously- I am so disappointed this is nothing like the AE I wore a few years ago - it's like a completely different perfume - a poor imitation. So sad an iconic perfume has gone.

My mom has used this for years. We bought her some for Christmas. Having seen these reviews I asked her about it. She said it didn't seem to last. She's 89 but now having to find a new one. My sister in law and I had both switched but you have lost us too

Soooooo disappointed that this has been changed. Have worn this perfume for years, always loved it and people used to ask me what it was. The new version has no resemblance to the original and barely has any aroma. Feel cheated out of my money. Surely you should have renamed it instead of passing it off as the same! Having seen similar comments it shows how many of your loyal customers feel duped and disappointed with your company. Cannot understand why you changed such a popular and beautiful perfume.
