Nice, but poor after sales support
No, I don't recommend this
We inherited a 9-drawer unit, but the wood effect finish on the drawer fronts has been pulled off by either tape or a sticker. M & S either can’t or won’t help in sourcing replacement drawer fronts (maybe because I didn’t actually buy them from M & S?)

Nice Furniture shame about the pre drilled fixings
No, I don't recommend this
I purchased the full range of Wardrobes and drawer units and upon receipt was very impressed with the packaging and assembly instructions with all items numbered. All the drawer units had the cam locks already fitted which I thought was great. All furniture went together no problems all assembled and looks great. A month later and all the drawer fronts have come off as the pre fixed cam locks were drilled too big and the cams come off . I have had to glue everything back together..

Form over function
No, I don't recommend this
Should have stuck with the previous budget brand chest we've had for 15 years. The Arlo 9 Drawer Chest looks stylish, but I don't think the quality is what you would expect from a M&S brand. It took us the recommended time to build, but every time we moved it slightly, it started to fall apart. The issue is the 'bolts' which don't feel like they are gripping properly (unlike our 15 year-old chest that had cam locks which pull the two parts together). We've moved it into position, having had to re-fix the top panel (twice), and it looks good, but I daresay it won't be ever moved again for dusting behind. Four days in, and one drawer front panel has already come off, and, of course, the bottom panel has already popped out of its groove. The drawer has now been glued. I'll keep the glue handy because I can foresee us doing this to the other eight drawers eventually.

Sturdy When Assembled Carefully
Yes, I recommend this
Pleased with this product, it is good quality. However under the current self assembly requirement, you will need at least 4 to 5 hours to unpack, check contents, digest 22 oages of instructions & assemble if you feel competent in doing so. Some consideration in the cost should be made for this.
