Animal Print Long Sleeve Shift Dress

Liked the length and shape of the dress but unfortunately the print and colour did not suit me.

Although this dress style suited my size 16,the sleeves were several inches too long,3/4 length would suit most women! The neck tie wasn't obvious from photos and the dress material was flimsy making it look like nightwear! I sent it back.

After reading previous reviews I decided to order a 10 12 and 14 sizes. I am a true 12 and would definitely say this dress is true to size. I was very pleasantly surprised with the material, very soft light and cool to wear. The gold metallic thread is understated which I think makes the dress more classy and adds an extra touch to a lovely dress. The lace on the sleeves adds an unusual touch breaking up the animal print and unlike another reviewer I really do like this.I do wish M and S you would get your descriptions right as this dress has a side zip which is not mentioned in the description, and had I known this would probably not have ordered it. However, the zip is sewn in very well, no puckering, and glides up the material easily. The underslip which is separate to the dress fits very comfortably underneath and is a perfect length, soft and doesn't cling to the dress making the whole garment very comfortable to wear. I would definitely recommend this lovely dress, I am 5' 5" and everything is perfect, size and length, just a pity the description misses the fact it has a side zip which could put some ladies off buying such a feminine garment.

I ordered this dress based on previous reviews but unfortunately it wasn't for me. It would suit a tall willowy figure rather than someone with a fuller chest and wide shoulders. It didn't sit well with the attached slip either and felt uncomfortable. The fabric looks better in the photograph and I felt it was rather inexpensive in quality but having paid under £40 I wouldn't expect it to me amazing. I will be send it back and try again!

I would not have tried on if I saw in the store, ordered online and will be returned. Too busy; length and cut make it more frumpy than high fashion, especially not suitable for larger bust. Style would work much better in a plain fabric.

Tried three dresses and this is my favourite. True to size and looks good on. Only thing I don't really like is the lace insert on each sleeve. If dress was all the animal print pattern, it would have looked much better and would have got top marks. Still love it 'though and can't wait to wear it. Will go great with boots.
