Aluminium 28cm Sauté Pan

The Circulon pan with lid will be a much needed addition to my kitchen. It’s so versatile and looks great as well.I chose circulon because I have used their pans for nearly 20 years and they have been long lasting, effective, easy to clean (although I still only hand wash them as I prefer to do it that way). I have frying pans (3 sizes and saucepans (3 sizes) and love them all. My favourite pan is a wok style frying pan so the casserole pan will make my kitchen complete.

We bought a set a few weeks before buying the sauté pan due to the quality of the products. I will never buy another brand ever again. Love it!

I love this pan! I got fed up of trying to sauté in a frying pan — stirring food over the side and onto the hob. Then I saw a short video that explained that the correct pan for sauté had straight sides. I saw this pan online and bought it immediately. But it does so much more than just sauté / frying. It gets lots of use for a variety of one pot meals on the hob (I rarely use the oven for energy saving reasons). The family favourite is probably chicken chasseur, with curry, vegetable stroganoff and a sausage casserole close behind. After use it so easy to wash up by hand in hot soapy water, but will go in the dishwasher too if feeling lazy. I only use silicone or wooden utensils as I don’t want to risk damaging the non-stick coating, but I may be over cautious as it seems pretty tough. The coating and the radial grooves on the pan bottom certainly make it hard to burn food — I haven’t managed it yet! This pan has probably the best nonstick surface I’ve ever used. The base of the pan conducts heat very efficiently: I can simmer a full pan of liquid on my smallest gas ring (the glass lid also helps here with energy saving). On a very low setting, using this tiny gas ring, you can see gentle bubbles across the whole surface of the liquid, not just immediately above the gas flame. I am a man in my seventies, living with my adult daughter, and finding a growing interest in food and cooking — largely thanks to this beautifully engineered pan. Buy one — you won’t regret it! I would definitely recommend Circulon as a quality brand. My daughter bought me one of their frying pans for Christmas and I am now wondering about getting a wok…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a previous model for many years - really sorry to see it go - searched for a replacement , and really pleased Circulon still make ‘em - pan delivers as it says on the box - pretty good value at this level - you can pay a lot more , but why bother .

I love Circulon products. They are hard wearing, easy to clean and I find being able to put them from the hob to the oven invaluable. There's a great range of styles and sizes too. The item i ordered arrived very quickly so I'm more than happy!
