Active Skin 8 Running Vest

I bought this vest in green on Sept 2 and have trained and run one 13 km race with it. I am 5'9" and bought the small. My advice is the snugger the better. I really like it and found it doesn't bounce when I'm running and stays in place. You can add a camelback if you are running long distances, but the two flasks it comes with are more than enough for my runs/training. I would recommend washing the flasks and nozzle thoroughly, as there is a lingering plastic taste when filling them just with water. I would highly recommend this vest.

Actually one of the best purchases I've ever made. I ran Mt. Marcy and did 18 miles for the day of straight scrambling and trail running. Even at faster pace, everything stayed in tact, comfortable and quiet. Decent amount of storage space too.

Ran my first ultra with this pack and could not fault it. Perfect size for up to 50mile. Any further and I'd look at something a bit larger.

I use it everyday for my 8km commute run with my lunch in it. Very confortable, doesnt bounce with fast or slow paces. I had it for years and if one day it breaks, I would buy it again.

I've been training with this recent purchase (F 31), and it's truly awesome, I bought the light blue one, size L. It feels like a light but functional hug that allows you to pack all the essentials for a long run (also short ones). There's room for the flasks, emergency kit, snacks, jackets, trekking poles, and more. Also, the flasks work really well — they’re easy to use during runs and simple to clean afterward. The whistle also works great. I'm really happy with this purchase and plan to use it for a very long time. If you are looking for a light and functional running vest, I would 100% recommend Active skin 8.

Great pack, but fits small. Definitely up a size from what the size chart recommends

I've used this vest on three trail runs and absolutely love it. It fits well, doesn't shift while running and has enough storage.

It holds itself in place and does what it’s supposed to do far better than my expectations. I’ve been running most of my career with a big Fanny back and have had to live with continual rubbing that becomes a recurring wound when doing long runs. It’s a whole new world now!

I thought I was going to have to get used to wearing this vest, but the first run I did with it was great! Everything stayed tight and didn’t move around much at all. I usually run up to 10 miles at a time and the vest has been comfortable with any distance that I’ve done. I would definitely recommend this vest!!!

I’ve used it a couple of times for long runs, and it been great. The water flow is perfect.

I wanted to love this but for the price I was wanting next to perfection. I found that this chafed my neck when running. I stopped running for a bit and got back into it and same issue again.
