My son had already opened and used a pair when I had seen on the back that these socks have been sprayed with a biocide (Dimethyloctadecyl [3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl] ammonium chloride) if this was made known when I purchased them online I would not have bought them. What happened when you used to put silver in your socks for antibacterial properties? I don’t like the thought of Strong potentially harmfulchemicals being on a product that are going to be so close to his skin all day every day.. the fact that this product remains wash after wash is also concerning. I don’t believe customers should have to investigate the small print to discover that everyday clothing has been deliberately treated with a biocide.

Socks are fine but I suggest anyone buying them opts for a small size. My trainers are UK11/USA12 but socks I bought here were 6-8 1/2 as I know they run big from previous purchases.
