5pk Pure Cotton Full Briefs

Bought to replace previous set which had achieved their double-digit anniversary and deserved retirement for long and loyal service. What the heck has happened M&S??? Material has changed to a much cheaper cotton. It has no stretch or give to it, it’s hard and scratchy, and feels really poor quality. The cut has changed and feels as if it’s been scrimped on - not a lot, but enough to ride right up where it previously used to hug and support. This is not helped by the skimpy, scratchy elastic. They pinch at the waist and don’t grip round the legs. I’ve honestly had better pairs from pound shops and online discount websites (“cough, ‘emu, cough”). I’m annoyed and incensed. I suppose M&S have gradually crept all these changes in so folk didn’t notice, but when you go straight from a fairly old set to these it’s very noticeable indeed. I’d rather have paid double the price for the old quality than waste my money on these.

fabric/sizing vs previously purchased is inferior, as I had previous pairs in same size purchased I washed them was only when using a pair that the issues re sizing became evident - def won’t be purchasing again or recommending!

I have discovered by trial and error that the elastane in cotton rich knickers was causing over the course of a few months increasing itching. I’ve had to discard cotton rich ones. These pure cotton with no elastine are more comfortable and do not cause itching.

Not as high on the waist as they used to be and not as stretchy. M&S trying to reduce material to add 2p to their profit, yet again.

Comfortable underwear, but what has happened to the material? It is so much thinner than it used to be. I have other pants from M&S that I bought some time ago, that are made of a much thicker material.

Good fit, comfortable and cotton plus pretty colours although price has increased from what they were significantly

The quality of the briefs were good but for the size the briefs were shallow.

Bought these before and they were better made , not so good now no stretch in them fabric seems harder .

Does was it says on the tin. Wouldn't get briefs anywhere else

They are very comfortable, good sizing and they wash well.
