Always buy these packs from M & S, always right size and wash well. One small complaint is that the fabric is getting thinner.

Much bigger than usual and different blue mix than the ones illustrated.

Slightly bigger than my old size 8 which is comfortable and cool.

M&S knickers are the go to of basic everyday wear. I have been buying these knickers since my mid twenties and in recent times they have changed. The sizing has gone, it used to be a bit crazy but now it's just random. They aren't as elastic as they used to be. You shape them up next to your old pants before putting on so you can compare the size and they look about them same. Put them on and they're way too small. Not just a bit, but loads. It's tough to buy knickers that allow for being really fat at the front and having no bum (a common white woman problem), and these used to be perfect. Alas, now the search begins for the new basic knickers...

Purchased size as expected. Comfortable for hot weather.
