Socks bought for my son who complains they are too tight to get on. They are size 4-7 (he has size 5 feet), but the opening is very narrow and very little elasticity resulting in them being not the easiest item to get on (& they should be!) hence he won't wear them.

Bought for my Grandson as a extra present for Easter and he said that they are OK, well what do you expect from a 11 year old that isn't really going to get excited over a pair of socks... lol..... These are brilliant. Whoever thought of marking the inside top of the socks with the sock size was a genius. I have two school age boys with different size feet and this is the only way to ensure that they end up with the right size socks in their drawers.

Nice socks M and S but your description doesn't make it all that clear that they are for little kids, not older high school students. So I've bought 10 pairs of size 8-12 thinking they'd fit my 12 year old and find they'd only fit a 6 year old.

Nothing on the website gave any indication that these were in any way gender specific, and obviously they are just socks after all, and there's no reason why they should be for girls or for boys. BUT when they arrived they have a huge label saying "boys". Fortunately I managed to remove said label before my very picky daughter saw it. WHY M&S?

They fit well and wash well. There is even space inside the elasticated section to write a name if you wish. My son often finds the seams on socks incredibly uncomfortable but has had no issues with these.
