Fell apart within 3 months
No, I don't recommend this
When socks cost £1/individual sock you really don't expect them to start falling to pieces within 3 months but that is what these did. I reckon I'd got 6 or 7 aggregate days' use out of some of them before holes and tears appeared.FYI all my other M&S socks have lasted significantly longer. These are fine-looking socks and fit well but there are obviously bad batches out there (or perhaps all of them are flawed, I'm giving M&S the benefit of the doubt) so I simply would not risk it especially given their price.

Well fitting socks
Yes, I recommend this
Many of M&S Socks are hard to put on, because of the lack of sufficient elasticity at the top. These however were (surprisingly) lovely, and a pleasure to put on one's feet without having to struggle. Also in a very elegant and sombre style. I will try to buy a second set.
