Had to buy new mugs after son-in-law commented on how awful my tea was! They were stoneware and so I bought these porcelain ones. Honestly, for the price, they are excellent and my cup of tea looks and tastes how it should. You can’t got wrong if you want value for money and are happy with a plain white mug. I purchased 2 sets for £10 - bargain.

I collected these from a local M&S food-only store (with a tiled floor) and unfortunately one fell when I was unwrapping the package - it shattered into several pieces. I haven't yet used or washed the mugs but they seem fairly robust. I would have preferred ones with a wider base so that they don't easily tip over, but these are quite stable. It would be nice to have four with a small motif on each to differentiate them so that people don't get confused which is their own mug, but I understand these would probably be more expensive. The ones I purchased seem value for money.
