Like a previous reviewer, I bought this to wear on a trip to the Far East. It is light enough for the hot weather over there when you want to dress up a bit in the evening, but casual enough to just look a bit smart for travelling. The sleeves are a nice length and the weight of the fabric is just sufficient to make it hang nicely. All in all, a versatile addition to my wardrobe

Loved the style & fabric. Fit was a little small. Would not have paid the full retail price of £59.00 though, as I feel that was over-priced. However, gladly paid sale price of £35.00.

Too small in arms

very disappointed to find this too tight in arms. Purchased two others at same time and they fitted perfectly. Kimono style usually means a looser arm but not in this case. Really sad to return as the quality, design etc were top class. Really hurt to return such a beautiful item because of fitting fault.

Stylish and versatile wardrobe essential

Firstly, I cannot agree with another review which criticised the fabric. In fact, I think it is beautiful and silky - also the lining is lovely, giving the whole jacket weight and making it hang nicely. The length is perfect too, skimming any lumps and bumps around the hips and giving a nice, slimming effect. There are so many colours in this pattern that you could team the jacket with lime, cream, turquoise, navy, beige, grey or black. How much more versatility could you want! I particularly like the edging to the sleeves which made it very dressy if you wanted to wear it for evenings - but to be honest, you could wear this piece anywhere. I love it and look forward to M&S doing more chic garments such as this.

The design and colours of this kimono are nice. It fits well. But the fabric is horrible. Very old fashioned thick uncomfortable crepe. It should be made in smooth thick cotton. I returned it as the fabric was so horrible.

This jacket is gorgeous and will dress up any outfit and is lightweight. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the sleeve is tighter than I'd like. You want these lightweight jackets to be comfortable and therefore a wider sleeve is a must

Well done M&S for hitting this choice right on the button. I had been wondering what to wear on a long haul flight to Thailand travelling Business Class and not wanting to be too casual. This jacket fits the bill admirably paired along with the turquoise top and I will have the choice of wearing trousers or a skirt. Well done! Once again you've come up trumps!

This jacket was just what I'd wanted to brighten up an outfit but I was disappointed to see so many threads hanging from it. I had to go over it with a pair of scissors to snip them off. Apart from that, I was pleased with the jacket.

Was looking forward to the arrival of this jacket but sadly it was something of a disappointment. The material is viscose which is slippery and a bit harsh to the touch with absolutely no give. Therefore the sizing needs to be good. I found the sizing to be on the small side which had the effect of causing the jacket to slip from the shoulders. Nothing else for it the Jacket had to be returned, primarily because I didn't like the feel of the material. I also thought that it was expensive for what it was, even with the 20% off.

Very Upset it was far to small....I have been wearing M&S size 24...since you have been selling this size, as I have not put on any weight...and have brought some other item's since...which fit me fine. I returned the jacket...Please Please check the sizing as I wanted this jacket for summer wedding..

A really lovely jacket. It arrived really creased but after hanging for a couple of days it looks fine. It is a really lovely jacket. More tailored than I was expecting, which is a plus in my case. Lovely colours, lined with a little decoration on the cuffs. Iooking forward to wearing it. Come on summer.
