This light is suitable for use outside, but the mains adaptor needs to be inside or in a weatherproof outdoor socket. The outdoor socket should have a cover and a rubber seam to keep out moisture and be rated IP44. If you do no have an outdoor socket you can feed the cable into a garage, outbuilding, shed, or through a window.

Not good quality
This has a fault. The plug gets hot and it switches itself off soon after it has been switched on. My electrician says it has a lose wire somewhere. I’ve bought a replacement set from you but haven’t returned the faulty set.
