Wild garlic and cheese scones

Just baked some wild garlic and Red Leicester cheese scones using the largest tray and they are the lightest and fluffiest scones I have ever made. This is due to the high quality of the trays and the recipe from my neighbour, Mavis. They smell divine and taste even better when eaten warm with some fresh organic farmhouse butter made by Mavis's cousin Arnold. The Jersey milk is from Arnold's cow Daisy. The recipe calls for buttermilk, but I didn't have any, so I used curdled milk by adding the juice of half a lemon. It's Mavis's birthday soon, so I will bake her some banana muffins on the smallest tray.

Fabulous set of trays. A mixture of sizes and definitely value for money for £6. I always line my trays with baking paper or foil to make them last longer but these are a real bargain.
