The grey ones have been superb. They’re soft, comfortable and have lasted two seasons, without signs of wear. The black ones have been very disappointing. They have barely lasted one season and have worn through on the heals.

Shed and shred fibres. Awful.

Very soft thermal socks. Beware they are not made of natural fibres, but 93% is viscose. The rest is polyamide and elastane. I've worn 2/3 pairs. They shred and and shed fibres which are worse than any wool or natural fibre socks I've ever worn. After a day's wear, I have to scoop out masses of shredded fibres from between my toes. If I hadn't worn them I would return them. They are awful.
