I really like these socks because they fit well and make any shoes/boots more comfortable. Despite being 'thermal' I wear them all year round and they never feel too hot.

Have been having these socks for the last few years. They're brilliant. I take a size 3 shoe so fit perfectly and they do keep your feet warm. I have stocked up for next year just in case you discontinue them - please don't M&S!

My son's been wearing these for a few years. He likes them as they are warm and comfortable for the cold weather. Other brands' thermal socks are either very expensive or mostly synthetic, so it's nice to be able to get ones that have a high amount of cotton and are a reasonable price. They are not the most long-lasting socks and wear through on the toes and heels quicker than other school socks I've bought, usually only lasting a few months. Ideally I'd rather pay a bit more for more durable socks, but these are the best we could find. It's frustrating that they go out of stock when they are most needed but are easy to buy in the middle of summer. I've been checking the site regularly since early November hoping for more stock, and I think M&S could sell a lot more if they stocked them at this time of year when the cold weather has just started! NB the 'size purchased' section doesn't give the option of sock sizes so I put 'one size'.

As a 45 yr old who needed warm socks that don’t slide down my foot, I was delighted to find these in the uniform section! I am a size 5.5 and the appropriate size is fine, but I would try a size smaller if I bought again. A great value buy - I’d like them in grey and navy too.

From the reviews, I'm not the only adult happy to wear these children's socks! They're exceptionally well made, including a stretch band across the top of the foot to stop them wriggling down inside your boot. Very good value for money and a very comfortable product.

I got these in grey last year, but the black had sold out, so I got them early this year. The black are as comfy and warm as the grey ones. I have had to get the next size up as my son is on the cusp of the size range, tho these do fit well.

I needed warm socks in an emergency, and plumped for these after trying on adult pairs that were far too large. Size 8.5-12 fitted me best, and I'm an adult size 3.5! Lovely socks, but I wish M&S would sort out their sizing. I also took off a star because I like to be able to buy items singly rather than being forced to buy a multi-pack, but if you want three pairs they are good value.
