Gives confidence
Due to medication I am often not able to reach a toilet in time. These pants, whilst not for that purpose, work very well in an emergency and give me the confidence to venture out

Disappointing
Not hugely impressed with these. For starters, they weren't sold as sleep shorts online, they were just listed as super absorbent shorts. As many have commented, the absorbent part isn't wide enough. The fabric is also thin, so it just rides up your thighs. I expected better really.

The larger, shorts-style shape gives the illusion these will be perfect overnight. The gusset is far narrower than that of the regular briefs/ hipster shorts. In addition to that, the thin material of the legs stretches out of shape within an hour and doesn’t hold anything in place. Not fit for purpose.

These looked very manly with the seams like boxers and also the structure, I also got a size smaller in these as I do with all M&S period wear and they appeared massive and bulky. As I was going to be wearing them during massage therapy I decided not to keep and returned.

Very comfy but too small where you need it
These fit really well and are very comfortable. The gusset goes all the way from the front to the back which is really helpful. The only thing is the middle part of the gusset is too small. It goes wide at the back but the part where you need the most protection is too thin/narrow! I did leak out the side.

Extremely comfortable to wear overnight, and having this in a shorts design definitely helps with the worries over leaking. I don't think these would be good enough for a heavy night (day 2 or 3) but perfect for the rest of the days. Some people have commented that they're a little loose, but I think any tighter would be uncomfortable overnight.

The period knickers are decent for medium to low flows and feel secure for around 5-6 hours. Any longer and with a heavier flow, the knickers are not secure and leak.
