Good work shirts and cool for the heatwave fit was ok a little bit generous but good for work shirts. Wash well but do need ironing dry very quickly all you need in workwear.

Beware! Old 17½ slim fit size is now a 16½ shirt!

All my work shirts are M&S 17½ inch collar slim fits, but they were getting on in years so needed replacing. I ordered some replacement M&S 17½ inch collar slim fit shirts online, but to my horror they were 10cm larger on the chest and stomach and looked far too baggy on me. To understand what was wrong, I went to the M&S at Bluewater in Kent and tried on the smaller sizes. It turns out that the modern equivalent to the old M&S 17½ inch collar slim fit shirt is the M&S 16½ inch collar slim fit shirt, because the added 10cm to the chest and stomach is gone. Thankfully, it was easy to return the oversized shirts.
