I dont think it is all that slim waisted
My daughter is age 12 and fits womens size 2 -4. I cannot find any school trousers that fit our schools policy of fitted black trousers, that dont cost me a ridiculous amount of money. I had hoped these would be what I was looking for, but I had to take them in using the adjustable waist buttons by 16 notches. They still dont quite fit her but if I take them in further they look terrible, as it is, they dont hang right. I dont think my daughter is an anomaly in being shaped like a gymnastic whippet so I am sure others need smaller trousers with longer length. Its a shame uniforms arent carried in store any more. *at least not in any near me
