Buy these for my primary age son who has a rugby players build, muscly thighs and bum. You can tighten them right up round the waist with the elastic and buttons inside and they fit perfectly on the legs and bum. The extendable hems mean you can get longer out of them as well - sometimes 2 years if he hasnt gone through the knees! Good value for 2 pairs as well

My boy is very tall for his age and chubby so regular trousers don’t fit him. After reading reviews I ordered just one size bigger than he should have, but it wasn’t as generous as I expected. I ended up buying him 3 sizes bigger than he is, which is pretty much same as with a regular fit trousers.

Sad to see to fit a good waist size, the legs are miles too long. How deflating for a child to feel out of the norm. Can also see from sales that larger waist sizes are required for a more Athletic child

Brilliant fit, I actually wish I went a size down as they are quite big but he can grow into them. Exactly what was needed for the kid who likes to play sports in lunch time. Roomy and comfy and wish I just purchased these before running round other stores trying to get what only M&S can provide
