Hit and miss
No, I don't recommend this
These hold-ups are so hit and miss when you buy them. Sometimes when you first put them on they stay up, others only one leg ok and others can find them round your ankles after about one hour. Surely there is something wrong somewhere with the manufacturing of the tops of these for there to be so many inconsistencies with how they hold up when worn. Such a shame as the denier section is great.

Ideal if you do not want to wear tights.

These actually do stay up without moving! Fantastic and warm and cozy.

Far too long to be useable
No, I don't recommend this
These stockings would be great for a 7ft tall person, unfortunately I am 5ft 3 inches, they aren't useable and were a total waste of money.

Lovely products, beautiful quality and feel more expensive then they are and last well despite numerous wears

Good at first...
No, I don't recommend this
I hate wearing tights so hold ups are a better option. However, whilst they're great at first, after being washed, they stop staying up. Not ideal.

Great
Yes, I recommend this
These hold ups are great and just what I wanted. I was concerned that being just 40 denier they would not be ‘thick’ enough, but they are. And they hold up perfectly too!

Nice Stockings
These are lovely, had them before, I don’t like wearing tights and these are perfect

Not as good as they used to be
No, I don't recommend this
Don’t know whether M&S have changed supplier, but these hold ups definitely don’t hold up. I have been buying these for years, however recent buys have all been the same, they don’t stay up and roll down shortly after being put on. Something has changed as they aren’t as good as they used to be and aren’t fit for purpose.

Not bad/Not good
No, I don't recommend this
These are very hit and miss. M&S don't seem to be able to fix the grippy part, it either rips or rolls. However, they're the only reliably available and affordable option, hence the 3/5

Very long in the leg
Yes, I recommend this
I have used M&S hold ups for years. I’m 5ft tall and the size S is great. I like these thicker holdups they are so much more comfortable than opaque tights but the leg length is much longer. They were bordering on too long.

Rubbish

Don’t waste your money they didn’t stay up at all! What a waste of money. Tempted to return as faulty.

Hold ups that don't stay in place
No, I don't recommend this
Very disappointed about this purchase. The hold ups don't stay in place and keep rolling and falling down. Wouldn't recommend!

Love these but not as good a choice these days.

I used to get these regularly but haven't had any for a while, there used to be quite a few different designs but tgeuscaooeaescticbecni longer. I've got a lot more skirts these days which is why I've bought them, would have been better if they had been 60 denier instead of 40, especially as its winter.

Quality has changed
No, I don't recommend this
I've been wearing these for years and years. Always get a new stock as we get into winter and get lots of wear out of them (though couldn't find them in store this year, had to order online). For the first time ever, I put my toe through 2 lots on the 1st wear, and on one occasion I walked into town on my lunch hour and one leg lost grip and was constantly falling down to my knee! As this has never happened before I can only assume they've made a change to quality of the materials. Thinner toes and cheaper material for the grip strips.

Fit not great
No, I don't recommend this
Unfortunately the top of one hold up was very baggy and kept slipping down below my knee. Apart from that the actual "stocking" part was fine.
