Good quality tights
Nice maternity tights. I did have to size up- I’m a size small in normal M&S tights (size 8) and sized up to a medium and they fit well at 23wks

Comfortable, well fitting, do not sag down, good quality as explained from M&S

Far too tight across bump
No, I don't recommend this
Very disappointed. I've always bought M&S tights but these maternity ones are awful, I even sized up from medium to large but even then and at only 20 weeks pregnant the extreme pressure with how tight they are on bump made me feel unwell after a few hours of wear. They'll be going back as not fit for purpose.

Rip far too easily!

I bought a pair of these maternity tights a few years ago and swore by them. They were thick, roomy and seemed very resistant to ladders. I bought this pair a month and have had both rip holes in the calves. The high price for only a months use incredibly disappointing when I rated them so well the first time. I would like my money back.

Love these - so glad I took a leap of faith!

I avoided buying these for a while as the bad reviews really put me off. So glad I decided to try them - they are brilliant. Excellent quality and feel very comfortable. I took into account what others had said about them feeling small and got a size M. They are perfect on the legs and fit perfectly on my 32 week bump. For context, pre pregnancy I usually wore size XS/S or 6/8.

Ok but wouldn't recommend

These are ok but I struggled to get the crutch actually up to my crutch (this is a problem I seem to have with most tights, even pre pregnancy unless I buy tall ones. I'm average height - 5' 6" - so I don't know why this is an issue). This made the tights uncomfortable at the tops of the legs. They do fit over bump nicely and are comfortable on the belly. I bought these in desperation for a Christmas party but wouldn't waste my money again and would suggest to avoid.

Fantastic!

Love these! Super soft, good stretch to them and good quality. Not had any problems worrying about tears or anything. They're just as great quality as the non-pregnant options and have a supportive area for the bump which doesn't fall down.

Very comfortable, great quality tights. Slightly tight at the tops of the thighs.

Comfortable, quality maternity tights

Had these in my last pregnancy and have just reordered! These tights are great- really comfortable on my bump, stay in place throughout the day and aren’t super thick so I’m not unbearably warm but still keeps me cosy.

My first choice for maternity tights

Love these - good quality, no holes or ladders despite frequent use, and comfy and supportive of my growing bump.

Not my favourite

Laddered after about an hour of wearing. Got really fuzzy, very quick.

Uncomfortable at the bottom of my bump and quite tight

Rubbish quality
No, I don't recommend this
Very disappointed! I have always bought my tights from M&S as the quality is unmatched and they last ages. Not so for these maternity tights! Sadly it seems they have decided to cash in on the lack of options available for pregnant women and skimped on the quality. Both my pairs developed holes after just a few wears and have become extremely bobbly. Wouldn't waste your money. Such a shame as they are comfortable.

Not true to size at all - very disappointing
No, I don't recommend this
I would not normally come and review a product but I’m so aggrieved I feel a need to. I originally ordered these in size large (I’m normally a medium in M&S non-maternity tights) but when they came they were tiny on my upper thighs. I couldn’t believe it as I’d already sized up. I returned for an XL (which by the way M&S says are equivalent of a size 20-22 and I’m normally a size 12… currently wearing M&S maternity leggings in size 14)…. They fitted a tiny bit looser than the size large but still not that comfortable. Again decided to return them. Personally I think this is atrocious, they’ve not accounted for a pregnant woman’s changing shape and it’s a load of rubbish that they say you should still be able to order your normal size. I’m really upset with this, that I don’t even fit a size XL in M&S tights. It seems like they either have designers who don’t actually test these out on pregnant women or they are just trying to cut costs by using less material. Normally I’d recommend M&S but I wouldn’t now. Very very disappointing.

Not true to size (much too small) and also really poor quality for m and s tights

A Pregnancy Must
Yes, I recommend this
Having tried many other maternity tights, these are the absolute best! I need them every day for work and they are so comfortable, fit right over the bump, are not too tight, but likewise not loose and bunching up either, feel so soft and silky, have a breathable thinner little window for your bump and are honestly just amazing. An absolute must for all expectant mothers! Amazing value for money too, and have not yet managed to ladder or put a hole in a pair, so they’re pretty durable - even with the many weird pregnant lady manoeuvres required to get them on!

Terrible quality
No, I don't recommend this
I love the normal range of these tights and M&S is where I get all my tights (so honestly didn't even know where else to look for maternity tights). I read some of the other reviews about people getting holes, but even still I didn't expect it to be this bad - I wore them once and got two holes (one in the crotch, one right over the bump!) making them completely unwearable. I will be returning the other pack that I bought and investigating whether I can get a refund on these since they are now useless. Unfortunately the reviews are true, so I would suggest finding maternity tights elsewhere!
