I really like the fabric, it’s lightweight and perfect for summer. However, the fit is extremely oversized. The shorts are very wide through the legs, so much so that it feels like three of my son’s legs could fit into each leg opening. I bought the size 3–4 years for my 4-year-old son, who is of average height and slim build, and I even had to adjust the waistband because it was far too large. While I could have tried the 2–3 years size, I believe it would have been too short in length, even if the waist and leg width had fitted better. The quality of the fabric is excellent, but the overall cut is much wider than expected for a child of this age and build.

Perfect in white for my children’s PE uniform. But white no longer seems to be on offer??? Please bring back the white in these cotton shorts. Im not a fan of the alternative goodmove ones in the football short style that look like they’re made of polyester.
