Fit well. Odd materials

I got the ecru and black. Ecru is a pale yellow bit see through but ok with skin tone underwear. The fabric is crispy but softened with washing. Fit was fine and liked the fact they’re cotton and straight legged

I bought this set to use as 'lounge wear' with a t shirt to wear around the house. Something cool for summer, comfortable, inexpensive and easy to wash and wear regularly. So absolutely fine for my purpose and actually the striped pair are rather nice.

Material looks good don't like them pinned togethe
Trousers look good quality, not worn or washed yet so cannot review longevity, but hope they are great. There is a problem in that the trousers are attached to each other when they first arrive making it difficult to try on (if you break this and they dont fit, would M&S accept as a return) luvkily mine fitted.

These white poplin trousers are transparent, you can read the writing off the labels through the fabric, so they had to be returned.

I can truly say these trousers are the worse thing I’ve ever bought from M & S. The material, style and fit are awful, they reminded me of the cheep pull on waterproof trousers my husband bought for £10 to wear when he is using the Jet wash.
