The extra short length was good for me and like the choice of lengths. The fabric isn’t quite as soft and comfy as the fat face leggings. The high waist isn’t quite high enough for me to use for multiple activities. However they were good enough value for money.

I have been so frustrared over the years with trousers and leggings that have ben too long and as you shorten them the ankle becomes wider. These leggings are just right for me do not need to be shortened as they are a good length .I bought a two pair pack ,one black one navy XS and that made a difference.Well done M&S for leggings that fit. There are a lot of people 5'0" that struggle !!

I have only given these leggings 3 stars as I am 5ft 6inches and the leggings are too short, they come above my ankles by about 2 inches. I was very careful to go by the M&S measurement guide which was obviously wrong. Apart from that the material is very light and smooth, I will wear them and maybe start a new trend.
