2 Pack Boys' Adaptive School Trousers

I bought a pair of these at the start of the school year and they were brilliant, the waist was fully adjustable which suits my very slim son and the correct length I’ve just reordered the same size and not only are they at least an inch longer than the previous pairs, but they have changed the waist so that you can not draw the elastic in to make them smaller. Unfortunately I only noticed this after I’d sewn his name labels in so I can’t return. Whilst I can take the length of the trousers up, there is nothing I can do to make the waist smaller. What’s going on M&S? Don’t advertise your trousers as having an adjustable waist if they haven’t.

Such a shame we can no longer purchase these, because they were brilliant. :((

I love these trousers, so easy for my little boy to pull on and off himself. He has special needs and struggles with some of his motor skills so these trousers are perfect for him. They are elasticated for flexible fit at the waist so they can be pulled on and off easily without struggling with buttons and zips. They are a good fit for him as he is quite neat and petite but I imagine they would be a bit tight on a well built boy. He also goes through trousers at the knees very quickly but these have stood the test of time well. Only problem is they're never in stock in grey! Please stock up M&S!

Bought these for my son who has special needs. Tried these so that he can be more independent as Zips and buttons a challenge. Unfortunately even with the waist adjust undone these trousers could not be pulled up over his hips, tried next size up but no different. Very disappointed as these are being advertised as “Easy” dress but are far from it and need a definite redesign around waist and hip area.

The straps for the adjustable waist elastics are unfortunately sewn into place, making the entire trousers un-usable for my son. What is the point of putting in an adjustable feature, then stitching it in so it cannot be adjusted to fit?

Material very thin. Far too big so ordered next size down which were miles too small. Shame. The quality overall was shocking and sizing was not good for us. Had to return to store

The design is really good but the sizing is awful tried the plus size and they where too big so thought I would get these but the waist is tiny and cut into him.

I brought these trousers for my son who has massive sensory issues with buttons and as they promised no buttons I thought they would be perfect, unfortunately they do have buttons inside the waist, which again my boy spotted first so now won’t even try them on! The trousers on a whole seem ok but really can’t comment on them.

Really excited to find pull up school trousers. However, both pairs split on the first day of wear. I sewed one pair up three times, but still kept splitting. I can’t write where as my review is rejected for inappropriate language. Eventually ran out of material to fix. Also material in quite thin, hole in knee after one fall. When waist is adjusted my son couldn’t get the trousers over his hips. Really disappointed.

My son is very aware of textures but actually likes to put these on. With the easy dress pull up action he’s dressed for school in no time! My son is a little short for his age but didn’t need to take them up. Others may find them a little short. They are quite snug on the waist so no falling down.

Good quality school trousers but unfortunately for my grandson they are very generous sizing.I returned them and bought slim fit

Not as described online. The description online and on cardboard label says these trousers are adjustable and they seem to have removed this feature without changing description. They simply fall down. Not a change for the better.
