Would not recommend

No, I don't recommend this

I wish I never bought these, they are so cheaply made and not fit for purpose. The sock itself is so thin that your foot is slipping on the inside of the sock even though the sole is grippy on the outside. It made me feel quite unstable in my workouts.

Not for reformer Pilates

I bought these ballet gripper socks for reformer Pilates because my feet would not get too hot, being open on the top. However, that causes a problem in that there is not enough material to keep them in place. They are the right size for me but when I did any standing or sideways movement such as standing adductor slides they get pulled down to one side and move around my feet so I have no traction. I feel like they are not really appropriate for reformer Pilates.

Slip off, not ideal.

They came off my feet in yoga positions so became unusable - socks would be better as don’t come off.

Poor grip, terrible design

Really disappointing. They slip constantly, the rubber cross doesn’t hold them in place, and the grippy part flips up during side lunges. Honestly feels less stable than wearing normal socks. Wouldn’t recommend.

Too stretchy

Originally posted on sweatybetty.com

I bought these for yoga, I take a size 35 footwear, but these are just too big for me, I am at the lower end of the sizing bracket, but they have a lot of stretch, so will probably suit most feet!

Don't stay on

Obviously you have to commit to keeping these before you can try them on as you have to cut the tags to take them out of the packing. However within 2 minutes of wearing them they had already worked themselves down off my heels, and within 5 minutes I had to give up on them entirely so I could focus on what I was actually trying to do for my warm up. The straps are too low and too loose to be of benefit and the socks are a little baggy. Sadly a waste of money, although the grip on them feels like it would be good if I could keep them on my feet.

Excellent grip socks, used for mixture of Pilates, weights, HIIT classes. Don't slip off foot at all, stay in place well
