bluemantle Unsupportive - caused severe back ache! six months after buying this I started having upper back ache between my shoulders. After a couple of months of sleepless nights I went to my doctor who was concerned about upper back pain and so I had tests etc for potential nasties which thankfully came back all clear. I wondered if I had done something at the gym but no otherwise I wouldn't be ble to carry out my usual routine without some kind of pain, however I took it easy. After a couple of months still waking in the middle of virtually every night with back pain I wondered if it could be the pillows we had so we went through about 4 sets before we were happy with these, but still the pain continued. After a search on google for upper back pain one of the suggestions was a poor mattress. This hadn't occurred to me as our mattress was new but I suggested to my wife that we swop it for my daughters mattress as she was no longer living at home. Guess what, within a couple of days the pain subsided and it's since gone! The mattress is simply not supportive. I could feel my back curving into the mattress when I compared it with my daughters much cheaper mattress. We had the technician visit yesterday and received the report today stating there was no manufactuing fault found? So in my opinion spend your money on a known renowned brand. We have always done this in the past and have never had a problem with mattress comfort. So this was definitely money down the pan, I'm certainly not returning to using it again. I wonder about the quality of construction on these and where they are manufactured.

Blossom70 New bedroom Great so far. Didn't want a memory foam or similar mattress so took a chance on this one with more natural content. It's lovely and comfortable. No back ache.

Jaysplace Disappointing We bought this under a year ago and although relatively comfortable it looks awful. It has dipped both sides making a ridge in the centre and now resembles a very old bed. We have been informed that the bed has no manufacturing defects - depends if you don't mind looking at a hammock. We are not overweight people.

Snowdrop73 So comfy Have had this mattress, plus base for a month. Finding it very comfortable, though I do have a topper on top. Delivery by a great team of two, who fitted the bed together, informed of delivery times down to the last 30 minutes. Our old mattress creaked and groaned when turning, now silence, bliss.

Sus7 Dreamy mattress Lovely mattress, delivered professionally and very comfortable. Softer than I expected from a 'Medium' but sleeping blissfully on it! Highly recommend.
