I am a convert to coverless duvets!

This is the second coverless duvet I've bought (king size/6 tog) and I absolutely love the concept. The previous one I bought was from another well know brand (king size/4.5 tog) and whilst I love it too it won't fit in my 9kg washing machine - well it does, but the machine makes a lot of noise and struggles with it! This was my main concern when buying the Night Lark duvet, especially as they aren't cheap, so I emailed Fine Bedding just to double make sure - even though the description said a king size 6 tog would fit in a 7kg washing machine - and they answered very quickly and reassured me it would. On receiving it though the washing tag on the duvet said 'king size/superking size requires a 10kg large capacity washing machine' which panicked me a bit! But... it fits in my 9kg washing machine with space to spare. I can only assume the same tag goes on all duvets as supposedly the 10.5 tog needs the larger capacity washing machine, but they should really make this clearer. So basically not all coverless duvets are the same regarding the washing machine capacity. This one is so light and soft it feels like it shouldn't be a 6 tog, but it's lovely and warm too, and looks wonderful on the bed. It also came in a lovely drawstring bag that you can reuse for other bedding, or if you buy more than one and want to swap over covers now and again provides great storage. I am definitely a convert to the Night Lark coverless duvets now!

So pleased with my purchase. It is the perfect weight for me. It is soft and silky to the touch. I chose the wild flower pattern & it doesn’t disappoint. The reverse side is a soft grey to match the two pillow cases which were included

Matching duvets and bedspread

We have found with the advancing years duvet covers difficult to change so it’s a pleasant surprise to find how easily these wash and dry We have a single duvet each plus a matching double as a bedspread It looks fantastic very neat and tidy and plenty of overhang Very pleased Not sure about Winter warmth yet but atm wonderful

I really love the print of this . And it goes really well in my room . My issue is they don’t do it in a bigger rig ad I’d like the winter version . And pillowcases in the print rather than the grey . It would be very helpful if the exact colour of the backing could be indicated in the details . The duvets are really easy to wash and dry and they are durable , I’m always spoilt for choice . I’ve also bought them for my grandchildren ,

It’s very light and comfortable to sleep under. It’s still a bit too warm for me for summer. I’d also prefer it in a natural fabric. The polyester is a bit slippy for want of a better word. I was dubious about it fitting in my washing machine but washed first time today and fitted fine. Dried 10 minutes outside (35’ outside) then put it in tumble dryer as instructed. It’s waged and dried perfectly. I may buy another now I’ve seen this one washed ok but a much lower tog for summer.

Quality feels really nice - I washed just after it was delivered and it dried really quickly. This one is lower rate for the summer nights ahead so haven’t used yet. The bag it comes in is really useful to keep airing cupboard tidy. I’m really pleased.

I love my coverless duvet its so soft. I bought a 6 tog duvet not because i wanted a lightweight one for the summer but one that was light so that it rested on my knee joints without any pressure. It is certainly warm enough and I feel that it will be warm enough for winter too. I'm so glad i don't have to struggle with a cover anymore.

This is my sixth Coverless Duvet. Just love them. So soft to sleep under. Put whole duvet into washing machine then out and dry inside or outside. Two hours could be back on the bed. Fantastic.

These quilts are all I’ve been using both at home and in my campervan for 2 years. Love them. Wash and wash - and dry so quickly. This new summer print is gorgeous - lovely muted tones and a modern floral print.
