Wild Rose & White Tea Smoothing Night Cream 40ml

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using Weleda’s night cream for a few weeks now, and overall I’m quite pleased with the product. Here’s what I like, and a few suggestions for areas that could be better. ⸻ What works well 1. Natural formulation The cream uses a lot of plant-based oils, botanical extracts, and avoids harsh synthetic additives. For example, the Wild Rose & White Tea Smoothing Night Cream offers antioxidant protection from free-radical damage while being non-comedogenic.  2. Hydration and nourishment The product is very moisturising. It feels rich and emollient, which means skin feels softer, smoother, and visibly more nourished after use. This is especially helpful overnight when the skin’s barrier is repairing.  3. Pleasant scent and texture The smell is generally appreciated: natural, floral or botanical without being overly synthetic. The texture often strikes a good balance — rich but not so greasy that it feels heavy. Many users report waking up to “skin feeling nourished” rather than tight or flaky.  4. Visible skin benefit For variants like the Wild Rose & White Tea cream and the Pomegranate & Maca Peptides cream, there are clinical or in-use studies showing improvements. The cream itself has a nice texture and sinks in well without feeling greasy, but the scent really put me off using it regularly. If you like stronger herbal fragrances you might enjoy it, but it was not what I was hoping for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try this night cream. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The cream has a very intense floral scent that lingers for a long time and is quite irritating. The texture is heavy. The ingredients are good, although they could be better. Nice packaging. For me it is not very effective because it is so heavy on the face.
