An alternative to ballet pumps

Very pleased with these suede shoes. Perfect fit which is a nice change for M&S. I find a lot of the shoes too pointy at the toes but these are just right. I’ve had problems with the quality of the soles of shoes at M&S before as they tend to get damaged and disintegrate so time will tell how these fare. The quality of the suede was a bit patchy and had to order another pair which is why I haven’t given it full stars. Also I found the ankle elastic too baggy. I can’t imagine anyone having that fat an ankle. I guess the straps isn’t adjusted proportionally so if you have small feet like me you’ll excess elastic. The elastic crossing the front is just snug enough. I wish M&S did shoes which were leather on the outer and inner as this gives more comfort and lasts longer.

I ordered these in the sale as I like wider fitting shoes, although these are lovely shoes and they would have been a great bargain, I couldn't keep them as they rubbed on my left foot, I think because they are very pointed. So regrettably I had to return them.

Lots of detail including a little back zip which makes putting the shoe on a lot easier. Being wide fitting they are very comfortable and the Insolia Flex sole is excellent.

These shoes are like a plush, rich velvet. they look fantastic with jeans or a skirt. I did get them even though they were wide fit and I'm not, yet I find they are a good fit around my ankle , there's a few millimetres of give but nothing to blink at, beautiful shoes...

good fit for a pointed toe shoe

I had the soft grey which I thought would be great to wear with light coloured clothes in the spring and summer. Being lazy I didn't unzip the back of the shoe and found it easy to slip my foot into. Just to add I didn't feel the zip on my heel which I have done in the past with other shoes from other companies.

These shoes were a gamble as I bought them online but when they arrived suprisingly they fitted so well! Great with a dress, skirt or even trousers. Quite a statement pump with all the straps and pointed at the front, but I am a big fan.

Lovely shoes, had tried them on at full price & nearly bought them but decided price too steep. Was therefore delighted when I saw them in the sale. They are very comfortable & so stylish and unusual with the ribbon straps. Looking forward to wearing them in drier weather, not sure how the suede would hold up to rain.

Very pleased with these flat shoes, bought recently in the sale so excellent value. I shall be wearing them under a long dress as part of a historical costume (zips are hardly acccurate, but won't be seen), and find that the ribboning is perfect for stopping the shoe slipping off if dancing. However, due to the narrowing at the point toe, it was necessary to purchase a half size larger than I would normally take. Very comfortable for extended wearing.

These are great, comfortable from day one and look good with trousers and skirts. They are advertised as wide fitting - I dont have wide feet and they are a perfect fit on me, so dont know how'd they'd fare for a wider fitting.

I have these shoes in 2 different colours and love them. I had to go up a half size to get a better fit. I have narrow feet yet these supposedly wide fit shoes was too narrow in my usual size. Half size up is just right though. I would imagine if you have wide feet these shoes may not be for you
