Bought these lights to replace basic plaster uplighters; my room is quite traditional but I didn’t want antique gas lights, so I feel these fit the bill perfectly. Everyone has commented on how pretty they are. And they are well made too, although the electrician wasn’t over-impressed with the internal wiring and having to remove the earth cable
