Longline parka light brown

My current dog walking waterproof warm parkas stop at the knee so, fed up with rain dripping off the hems and the resulting uncomfortable soaked cold jeans/trousers for most of the walk, I went for this Seasalt longer parka. At 5’3 this regular sized parka reaches to just above mid shin - and lower calf at the back. So it should hopefully do the job when put to the test (not rained yet). The colour Light Brown has a slight pale burgundy pinkish tinge - not sure I love it but is not unattractive. I’m size 10/12 but always size up for winter parkas - the size 14 looks good both over a thin top or a thick sweater. Furthermore, as the sleeves are not lined with either the fleece or the quilting and therefore not as warm as the body, I tried a medium jumper AND a lightweight down jacket under it and that works very well, still a comfortable fit and looked good. Sorted. The sleeves are regular (too long for me but turning the cuffs inward works ok). As other reviewers say, the pockets are deep and warm and the hood has nifty adjustment toggles if the expected winds try to claim it.

I chose UK 10 which is very ample, lots of fabric and room in the sleeves which are long. The blue/green shade brings a touch of colour to a monochrome wintery landscape. It has a warm fleece-lined hood which will be cosy in the colder weather and it feels comfortable and light to wear. I have yet to see how waterproof it is.

As we are expecting a wet winter (Ha Ha) I needed something really practical. Trench coats look nice and are fashionable but no hood. How then do we carry an umbrella, a bag and be able to find our phone quickly? This coat solves all the problems, It has a hood which can be pulled tight, large pockets, big enough for phone, keys etc, has poppers and a zip fastening. Lovely colour too.

I bought mine in the sale and it was a bargain. It arrived very creased and the packaging was disappointing but you can iron it on a low heat. It's very well-made and some of the design features are very useful, such as inside pockets and a zipped vent at the back. I don't find it particularly warm, but it is certainly watrproof.

I am a 12/14, 65kg and 5' 7" The coat is very good quality and offers great waterproof standard. I ordered a size 14. I wish I could have changed it for a 16 as it is a little tight with jumpers. They were sold out so it was not an option.

Perfect for all occasions
Have worn this coat every day since purchase! Regular is a great fit and length. Sized up from usual 10 to 12 to accommodate chunky knits. Really warm, absolutely waterproof and the natural colour looks great and can be seen even when gloomy and dark.

I bought this coat because it’s rained a lot recently and it was reduced, a bargain. It’s a great colour, comfy hood that doesn’t fall over your eyes, comfy, snug neck to keep out the wind and it covers your legs to keep you dry. It’s plain but I like that, and the sleeves are long but I’ve got short arms, always a problem so I just turned them up. True to size.
