Twiggy for M&S Collection Satin Effect Hooded Parka

LOVE the fabric and the colour! Would have kept it, despite it being dry clean only, and therefore not very practical Although I did wonder...what happens if it rains? Does it shrink?? But I agree with the previous reviewers who said it was a very loose fit, particularly below the waist. OK if you don't mind looking bigger than you really are, because of all the extra fabric adding bulk. So it was the poor fit which was the decider for me. Back it went.

Wore my new coat yesterday for the first time and received two lovely comments regarding it from complete strangers!

I just love this new parka. Most women's jackets lack pockets or have very small ones, I needed some sort of jacket to walk my dog (with keys, phone, dog waste bags, etc.), so I ordered this one. I'm very happy with my purchase, it is very versatile, perfect for colder days as well as warmer (easy to pull up and fasten the sleeves), the colour blends with most colour palettes, the style is young and cool without exaggerating. A perfect buy!

Love both the style and fit of this garment .. think it a bit overpriced but considered it fitted my need for a light weight casual every day coat. Failed to notice 'dry clean only' !! Am concerned light colour and fabric type will easily mark and therefore need frequent dry cleaning! Would very much like to know if anyone has tried washing this garment .. did note one of the other reviewers indicated an intention to wash.If washable will definite keep and would then recommend to a friend .. please if anyone has washed write a review.

I was disappointed with the quality of this coat, the fabric is flimsy and not even shower proof which I would expect for a Parka with a hood. However it is a stylish shape so have kept it but feel it was poor value for the price.

I was very impressed with the quality colour and fit for the top half of me, but it unfortunately was too big round the hips. so I had to return it.

I REALLY LIKED THIS PARKA AND HAVE WORN IT ALMOST DAILY SINCE IT ARRIVED. IN OUR CLIMATE ITS PERFECT FOR THIS TIME OF THE YEAR AND LOOKS VERY NICE OVER A JACKET OR CARDIGAN. THE FIT IS TRUE TO SIZE, THE LENGTH RIGHT AND IT'S A LOVELY COLOUR. IT DOES CREASE A BIT AND I HAD TO CUT OFF THE PULL THROUGH TIES AT THE BACK WHICH LOOKED ODD HANGING DOWN MY CALVES BUT APART FROMT HIS I AM FULLY SATISFIED. I HOPE IT WILL WASH WELL BUT USUALLY HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH M&S ON THIS.

Bought this when it was reduced in price. Nice modern style, good length and lovely colour. Am size 24 and good to have some room to move (not too much but enough) when it is done up and not to be tight fitting. Would certainly recommend this for the larger sized woman as looks lovely on.

I have just received my Twiggy parka and have to say that it is so stylish and has a lovely satin sheen to it. It hangs well and I love the turn up sleeves that make it look elegantly casual. The quality is very good and it looks expensive, as I would expect for the price. I was lucky enough to get it with the 20 percent off offer. The only problem I have is with the size, which is a little big and as I am 5 feet Tall and a size 8 and I cannot go down a size. I WELL RECOMMENDED.

This is exactly what I've been looking for! I do like a luxe parka and they can be difficult to find. I did try to buy something similar from another retailer, but at only £9 less it was very short, unlined and see-through.....! This is in a different league and has great style elements. A fantastic addition to my spring/summer in Scotland wardrobe.

I love this coat by Twiggy. It is stylish good quality and it looks great on. I am very pleased with my purchase I would highly recommend.
