Tote Bag

As I am not a fan of all the endless backpack style work bags, (which everybody seems to be using nowadays!) which I find are bulky and awkward to use and carry around. I was on the lookout for ages for a good, practical work bag that gave the option for either carrying by its sewn in handles, or over the shoulder or across the body, with the use of a fixed shoulder strap. This bag was exactly the style I have been looking for, at a good price, and well made. If I were to make one criticism, the two internal stitched in pockets are too small and deep for my fat hands, and when putting something in the pocket, I find it near on impossible to get it out again... it would have been more practical for these pockets to be a lot wider for this reason. I tend not to use these small internal pockets for anything small that could disappear never to be seen again.... unless you turn the bag up and give it a shake. I have knocked one star off for that. Apart from that, I am pleased with the purchase and would generally recommend it.

I love the shape and size of this bag but sadly it's awkward to carry with too much stuff in it. I brought it for work and it fits my laptop etc. but it mad it quite cumbersome. I tried using the shoulder strap but that was worse. So gutted because I should have returned it but it is lovely material.

On trend and stylish. Good quality canvas fabric. Very reasonably priced. Ecru colour ideal for summer.

We were really pleased with our tote bags to match the weekend bags we ordered. Lovely quality and perfect for weekends away. Unfortunately the long straps didn’t arrive on either bag( must be a packaging problem). We were told that we could return to store or return by post. Sadly the store is not near and as we needed to use the bags returning was not an option so we decided to keep without straps. Disappointed that they could not be posted separately to us.

Was looking for a tote smaller than the one I already use and this fits the bill. Size in cm’s is approx 40 x 40 x 16. Handy inside zipped pocket plus two inside open pockets that each fit a 500ml bottle. Good strong short handles. Minus a star because the fabric does attract lint and cat hairs!

I’d already purchased the neutral version of this & taken on holiday. Loved the fabric, style look so purchased the black. Now we need a navy blue please!

I loved this bag, in ivory white, when I saw it online, perfect for the summer, with a crossover strap and ordered it straightaway. I was not disappointed by its looks or the quality of this bag. But sadly, it was too big for me - in that it didn't look right as I walked around in front of the mirror. It was more of a big bulky handbag than a tote bag. I was sorry to send it back because it was really nice

What a great tote bag. It's less than half the price of similar bags I've bought from Oliver Sweeney, the quality is as good and it is functionally better. The strap and the two zipped pockets mean it's easier to carry and everything is secure. The colours mean it finishes off just about all of my summer wardrobe.

I brought the bag for an upcoming coming trip abroad, as I wanted a tote with a zip, but not one too big. On first glance I thought it was stylish and value for money. I liked the pockets, as one can be accessed both inside and outside the bag, which was handy for passport control. However, after its first use, the faux leather seal on the handle started to peel. The canvas material also picks up a lot of fuzz.

Haven't used this bag yet, though it is everything I was after in a tote bag. Love the size, storage pockets, colour and style.
