Come up big

I ordered the taupe in the usual size I get for boots from M&S which is a 5 1/2. When I opened them up, I was disappointed that the taupe was actually a brown although a very nice brown and when I tried them on the boots were far too big. I have re-ordered in a size 5 and really hope they will fit this time. The quality is good and they are good value for money especially as I purchased during sale price. However, in my opinion they are definitely not taupe, they are brown.

Love the boots with slim jeans, but the colour descriptions are misleading. The 'Bronze' is nothing like bronze as far as I understand it, but the 'photo is accurate i.e. it's a soft charcoal/midnight blue. The 'Indigo' version is basically black as per the 'photo, but again not what I would expect Indigo to be. Also the Indigo version has a wooden look sole on the pictures but didn't when they arrived, rather they had a grey sole. Very comfy although sole could thicker. Size-wise I find them bigger around the ankle area & less so in the toe area. The boots remind me of the pixie boots I had first time around in the 80s!
