Smartish casual top to wear with jeans

I bought this because it seemed pretty good value, actually reduced in price. I got a 10 and a 12 as I wanted a looser fit, and kept the 12. I'm usually a ten and it was described as a loose fit, but I still needed the 12. It's fairly thin fabric so definitely for summer wear or would need something underneath. However it will make a nice change for me to the plain white I usually go for!

Although this is a comfortable and well-styled top, buyers should be aware that the fine threads in the fabric catch easily. I have worn mine twice to go shopping and already have about 15 pulls in it.

Narrow sleeves

I'm a small lady with a big chest, so I bought a size 16 since this was described as 'loose fit'. My arms are not large and my wrists are tiny, but the bottom of the sleeves was far too close fitting to be comfortable for me. In fact, the sleeves were narrow along their full length. I like to push sleeves up because they are usually too long and I wold have been unable to do that with this top. Returned.

I wish the other colours were available, this top is so versatile. The slouchy shape is flattering & comfortable & the light cotton drapes beautifully. Cool enough for a summery day but with the long sleeves warm enough for a breezy one too. I ordered it not expecting much, in view of the low price, but I love it. Well made & washes beautifully.

Ordered this online to use for Pilates as sports tops with sleeves seem to be somewhat hard to find. The looser fit of the top would have been fine but the fabric is very thin and would have been a bit too see through for me.

Ordered a size 10 because I didn't want the top to be too voluminous. However, even in a 10, it is huge. I won't order a smaller size because the material is just horrible, a bit like thin woven straw.

This is an absolutely lovely everyday top. Feels great on the body (the texture of material) and has a nice loose fit. It's light, therefore perfect for sunny weather as material is not too heavy. I had it recently under the cardi on my trip in Dorset, therefore would recommend it as a weekender top, too. I love both the design and the material it's made of. It ticks all my boxes (including comfort, design, price) and that's why it's a 5***** for me.
