Really wanted to like this dress as I love the style and colour, but the shape and fit just aren’t designed for an actual person to wear! No stretch at all in the fabric so you can’t move or raise your arms. Length wise it’s a couple of inches below the knee which isn’t a problem in itself, but the dress is straight cut and there’s no slit so you can’t actually walk! Sent back I’m afraid

This dress was very disappointing. The collar would not lie straight. It should probably have had a fastening at the neck. It was also on the large side. The material was thinner than I had expected. I always read the reviews and obviously other people enjoyed wearing it.

I tried this dress on in the store at Pudsey in a size larger than I needed as my size was out of stock. I was amazed at how nice it was, it hung beautifully, the stripes on the shoulders and hem were perfectly matched, the neck laid flat superbly. The price was amazing. I went to the counter and asked if Harrogate had my size in and they had so I ordered it and picked it up the next day. Everything I have said about the Pudsey dress was missing from this one so all I can say it is pot luck as to the quality you will end up with. I returned it. If you are lucky enough to have bought that dress in Pudsey - lucky you. (I have given this dress 5 stars as I know if the consistency of manufacture is there it is worth that score)

I like this dress. It has no stretch but I don’t find it difficult to put on or take off. With a pair of long navy boots it looks smart. I am a 6 top 8 bottom and 8 is fine. I expect dresses to be a little big on the top and I plan to cinch this with a smart leather belt. At the end of the day it’s a £19.50 dress so I wasn’t expecting silk but it’s perfectly acceptable as a day dress moving in to autumn.

These dresses look lovely on line, nice prints and comfortable. However the fabric is awful, feels like thick nylon/polyester which is quite stiff. So the sleeves felt stiff as you bent your arm and the dress just hung, too thick to drape. Should have known for your cheapest price range of £19.50. Returned.

Really wanted this to be right. Colour and shape looked really good. Sadly it was impossible to get on with no zip. Across the back and tops of arms it was too tight. Bought next size up to see if fitted better and had same problem. Both went back
