I wasn't sure whether or not to buy this as glass cafetieres are quite a bit cheaper, but I'm so glad that I did. It's such good quality - robust and heavy in a good way - it's really easy to keep clean, looks really stylish and holds the heat really well as it seems to be insulated. It holds enough for approximately 3 medium to large mugs - I'd definitely recommend this cafetiere.

This cafetiere looks nice & keeps the contents at a good temperature. However, it is not true to say that it is suitable for use in a dishwasher (which was one of the factors governing my decision to buy). Only the container & the filter are dishwasher safe, which means the rather overengineered lid has to be washed by hand. I didn't return it as I needed to replace my existing cafetiere in a hurry, due to caffeine addicts arriving to stay!
