Stainless Steel 18cm Saucepan

I wanted pans which worked well on my induction hob. These are perfect. My original set, took so long to boil water, I always boiled the kettle to water to the pan. These are quicker to use and transfer heat twice as quickly. They are easy to clean, stand up to metal utensils (so far!) and are woth every penny. They have wide bases compared with other pans with a similar capacity and look good. The lack of a metal plate with a groove where it joins the pan is a great advantage. There's nothing to collect grime and the pan is in direct contact with the hob. The handle on the lid has an unusual design but is very comfortable to hold. Neither handle nor knob get hot. My only criticism is the lack of a steam vent, but once you realise that they simmer at a very low setting, they work well. I'm going to complete the set now I know how good they are.

What am I doing wrong I have got a set of different sizes pans I find when cooking the water comes over the side making a mess of the cooker . I find the handles on lids are hot I have dropped them many times there is no steam out let in lids. Easy to clean that’s all I like about them

It fits in well with my own family of saucepans, all of a different make. It is a convenient size and has been used a lot already

Great pan, does what is needed, Love the fact the handle and lid don't get hot. Time will tell about how it stays none stick

It takes longer to heat up than my previous saucepans but does appear to do so evenly.

It's not been used yet, but this pan fulfils all the requirements we had for it - size, good quality and so on.

this pan is not nonstick with porridge which was the whole point of the purchase in the first place

Lovely pot and I love the lid handle, very modern and comfy to hold. Only used a few times but nothing sticking and washes perfectly

My second set of Circulon saucepans - the others have lasted 25 years and are still pristine. I fancied treating myself to the new Steelshield pans and am absolutely delighted with them. Nothing sticks to them, they look beautiful and as someone who is constantly cooking they are a pure delight. Whilst they are somewhat expensive - they are worth every penny. I love them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both me and my wife were really impressed with the SteelShield Nonstick Stainless Steel C-Series Saucepan . one can tell that Circulon have kept up with their premium quality standard and blown my mind , it’s a very sturdy pan a stylish glass lid with a styled handle. We got this as we were really struggling with the make Chicken Curry's on the on electric Hob . this pan great for batch cooking curry etc as you can chuck everything in one pan. its strong stainless steel and good design and quality. Nothing has stuck to it so it is non stick as advertised. The thing that's good is just washing one pan rather than several and not having to leave slow cooker on all day. Cleaned really easily. It is large but we have plenty of kitchen storage.

The handles are so comfortable and stay cool to touch. The pan is not too heavy and in an ideal size. Absolutely love the design, it’s so stylish. SteelShield Saucepan is definitely the best pan I ever used and I would highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light weight and so easy to clean due to been non stick no scrubbing away. Love the look of it especially the lid handle. No food stuck to the bottom of the pan all in all a good quality pan that no doubt will last years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the cook and have a lot of different pots and pans in the kitchen. Funnily enough, I was on the lookout to replace my very old pans that have served me well. I don't mind paying more for good quality and for items that will last longer. I've had my current pan set for over 10 years and the non stick is becoming more and more sticking. First of all the pan looks top quality. The lid looks beautiful, the holder is taller than what I have seen before but this is a bonus, when the lid is hot, your fingers are no where near to burn. It looks attractive. The base of the pan is appealing. I like the rivets at the base, the thickness of the non stick is second to none. I've used this pan daily, as a family if five. It fits a good amount of pasta or beans or whatever you want to cook. I've even made a chilli. I will own up and admit that I cremated baked beans in there by leaving the pan on full then answering the front door. The beans were more of a hot, blurping mess but they didn't stick. They were all mushy and didn't resemble baked beans or anything else for that matter. But I use a wooden spoon to scoop them out and it cleaned so easily like nothing was stuck to them. Absolutely love this pan and would recommend them to anyone. I've since upgraded my old set to a gorgeous new set from Circular which I can't wait to receive. Hands down, these are the best pans that I've ever used. Ever!
