Spacedye Keep Pace High Waisted Biker Gym Shorts

These shorts are very soft and smooth, and the fabric is pretty thick. I got the black in small and am 5’4 ~120lb / usually a size 4 and they fit well, however they seem a bit tight at the very top, which is only annoying when I sit and it feels like I’m going to be cut in half. I could size up but am afraid of the shorts being too loose elsewhere. Folding down the top seems to help (but who wants to always have to do that?). I may return and try a medium - haven’t yet decided. Again, they fit fine, they just have a bit too much tension in the elastic at the very top. I’m new to bike shorts so don’t have much to compare to, but would love a short that feels uniformly snug! I also feel like they aren’t very flattering from the hip up, bc of the seams and very wide top band, but maybe that’s just me not being used to them. I got these for actual biking and climbing, so we will see how they hold up.

I’m obsessed with her leggings and the same goes for these biker shorts. Super soft and they don’t cut off on my legs which I like.
