I usually treat myself to Uggs slippers as I love them and you cannot beat a quality pair of slippers for the cold winter months. I have to say I am over the moon with these. Absolutely lovely, so soft and comfy. You can roll the tops up extra ankle warmth. They are lovely and snug so instant warmth when you put them on. I didn't find them too tight, they are just right. If you are in 2 minds, go for it ! I rate them higher than Uggs.

Okay, the slippers are still a bit tight but I've had Celtic's slippers before and I know that they will settle down and become a great fit given a bit of time and wear - they're just brilliant to snuggle tired feet into on a cold winter's evening. Maybe they're not the height of sophistication, but I'm a comfort over looks sort of person and these definitely get 5 stars for comfort. But as we move into warmer weather I like to swap from Celtic's bootee slippers to Celtic's shearling flip-flops - it would be really good if I could do a click and collect at M & S on their flip-flops too.

Size and Fit: When trying on your footwear for the first time, it may feel very tight across your toes and instep. This is nothing to worry about, as within an hour or so of wearing, the boots or slippers will loosen off as the wool starts to bed down and mould to your feet. So do not order a size bigger than you usually wear, otherwise they will end up too big for you. If you know you are a half size – then we recommend buying the size down unless you regularly buy up a half size.
