Secret Support™ Short Sleeve Floral Nightdress

Although it has not been given yet, I am pleased with the quality and look.

This nightdress is very nice but does not have any secret support at all like the name suggests.

I love these nightdresses and wish M&S made more of them! The last one I got (last year) had a wonky neckline but this one is perfect. I look hopefully for a return of the prettier embroidery detail and ribbon trimming near the hem, but otherwise, apart from the mystfying description ( secret support? Moves with you?!) can recommend this for anyone not interested in fancy nightwear.

This nightie has a loose fit with gathers at the bust line giving lots of room when turning in bed. Another narrower fitting style I bought at the same time tends to pull at my shoulders when doing this. The Swiss style white lace edging at the neck is very pretty, like a little flower border. Along with the ribbon threaded trim the overall impression is of an upmarket item. Nice fresh blue flower print. Not too fussy. This year has been very good for polycotton nighties. These are ideal for travel as they can be washed and drip dried.

This nightdress looked much better on screen. The colour was drab and the nightdress was shapeless. It was too large. It is a pity that M & S do not standardise their sizes.

This is a pretty nightdress and looked well made however it is very hard to determine from the photos and description whether the fabric is 'knit' type which is what I must have. This fabric was the woven type with no movement and so it had to be sent back. I do wish the description stated whether it was 'knit' or 'woven' - it would take the guesswork out of it (and expense returning it from overseas). Saying 'it moves with you' is deceptive.
