I have sent a box of seasonal fruit to many friends/relatives over the past years and they have all been so appreciative. I, personally, think the fruit is much better than flowers during during hot weather, as they don’t last many days, whereas the fruit can be eaten when and whenever the recipient feels ready to do so and some fruits do need a few days to become ripe enough to eat.Lovely gift M&S. Worth every penny.

A treat for myself after minor surgery. When I opened the hamper was met with the smell of rotten bananas. On some the flesh had burst out of the skin, other's just mushy. The rest of the fruit was perfect. I was very glad the hamper was for me and not a gift. Those bananas must have been over ripe when packed as it states next day delivery. Will not purchase again.

Poor quality and handle
The first lot of fruit wasn't great so had another one sent.but whoever packed the fruit they stuck a pineapple on top of small oranges so the orange was squash.i think it varies who takes care in certain areas.

Bought as a gift for a family member and whilst all the other fruits were fresh and appealing, the 8 bananas were all brown and two of them were leaking fluid. They were concealed in the bottom of the box by the other fruit.The bananas were thrown away by the recipient. I think this is a supplier issue.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this order. I ordered the fruit basket as a birthday treat for myself, but when I cut open the pineapple, I discovered that it was completely spoiled inside and had to throw it away. The grapes were not very fresh either. However, the pears were absolutely wonderful — fresh, sweet and delicious. Overall, I expected much better quality, especially as it was ordered for a special occasion.
