Sizing issue
The quality appears to be solid, but the fit was quite restrictive, especially around the back and arms. It seems like the lining is too tight compared to the outer fabric, causing discomfort.

Good quality blazer as expected from M&S. Not sure about the sizing though. It used be even numbers, like 36, 38, 40 now its odd eg 39, 41... I needed size 40. So i had to order both 39 and 41. I kind of guessed i would keep the larger size but there's always that doubt. Now I have to return one which is annoying in itself. Cant fault the blazer though, I love it

I bought this for my 11 year old as his first blazer. Though I had bought one from a supermarket for cheaper, I returned in favour of this as it was made so much better and just had a better feel to it.

Bad quality
No, I don't recommend this
Do not know what happened but the last blazer that I bought for my son wasn’t this plasticky at all. Had the option to buy one from school shop £10 cheaper but then I thought that there was a chance to be more plasticky and went ahead and spent more at M & S for probably the same quality as the one from school. Not impressed at all since I bought school uniform for the past 14 years only from M & S.
