A really lovely slip dress at a budget price. Wasn't sure whether I'd look as though I was wearing my nightie (or like mutton dressed as lamb) but actually it's substantial enough to be deemed a dress and long enough to cover one ageing knee, if not two. Marvellous addition to the wardrobe.

Yes, I recommend this
beautiful dress, beautiful fabric, beautiful lace - too short! if this dress was midi length to the calf, it would be so flattering, sexy and elegant. I am 5'4' and size 20 and it skims over any lumps - but how many women want to show their knees when they are over 45! (M & S target woman). Leave the short dresses for the young girls (amply catered for on the high street) and please go back to what you were once so good at - stylish, well made, appropriate lengths for the not so young who still want to look good.
