I'm super glad I discovered this - my hair was getting greasy and it felt weighed down, but since using this for a month there is a huge difference. My hair feels fuller, a bit thicker, and not frizzy at all! Definitely going to purchase again.

My go to conditioning

Pleased the product is now in a squeezable container. The original container was difficult to use and i have just finished a 400g one. Feel the conditioner is helping to conserve my very fine hair

This shampoo cleans my fine hair really nicely without weighing it down. It works particularly well with the conditioner. Leave my hair feeling soft and smooth - full marks.

Aveda Sap Moss Shampoo
Yes, I recommend this
I have used this shampoo twice with the accompanying conditioner. It has really nourished my dry hair and calmed my itchy scalp after just two washes. The only draw back, because the shampoo is a brown colour, It has given my grey hair a yellowish tint. I am not too concerned as I do put a purple tint on my hair occasionally, to eliminate any brassy tones. I feel there are more pros than cons to this shampoo for me, and I love the earthy smell. I also feel that it is giving my hair and scalp a really good clean.

Excellent Product
I recently purchased this Aveda Sap Moss Shampoo in the hope it would put moisture back in to my hair ( I had been struggling for an alternative after my go to brand was discontinued).. I was amazed to find after only 1 application along with the matching Conditioner my hair was so much more manageable no longer dry shiny soft and my scalp felt incredibly clean. The Sap Moss Shampoo has a pleasant earthy smell not overpowering really organic. I,m so pleased with these Aveda products hope Marks and Spencer brings more Aveda items in to there Beauty Department.

I love Aveda shampoo but not this one as I didn’t notice a difference and really don’t like the smell. Not for me.

My hair feels like hair again.
Yes, I recommend this
Thought I would try this shampoo as my hairdresser had said how good it was. After reading the reviews I thought I’d give it a go. I have got short fine coloured hair and was finding it hard to get a shampoo that made my hair feel like hair! This shampoo has not disappointed from the first time i used it my hair felt softer shinier and in better condition. You only need a small amount so although expensive to buy it will last a long time. Some people don’t like the smell but its not offensive to me.

Curly Hair Saviour

This is the BEST shampoo and conditioner range for my curly hair! A lot of Aveda stylists reach for BeCurly or NutriPlen when they see a client with curly hair but my curly hair needs Hydration not moisture and this is the perfect pairing. Leaves my very curly hair tangle free with that seaweed texture when the conditioner is washed out that all the curly girls and guys are after! Please do not ever discontinue this range Aveda, Sap Moss is amazing!

Expensive Mistake
No, I don't recommend this
This shampoo has the feel and consistency of mud, looks like mud and smells awful. Made my naturally curly hair feel very dry and a bit frizzy and definitely not hydrated. Used it today for the first time but never again. Expensive mistake as it is now in the bin. Would give it zero stars if I could.

Good shampoo to use if hair dry from central heating and winter. I use this sporadically throughout the winter for shiny nourished locks.

So happy this product is back even if it slightly different from the 90's & 00's version. Makes my hair soft an shiny without weighing it down. Would be great is Aveda brought back the Sap Moss concentrate too. As for the complaints for the 400ml bottle - Keep them upside down. Maybe Aveda should redesign package in that way too.

Beautiful shampoo
Yes, I recommend this
This shampoo gives a thorough cleanse, gently removing traces of styling products,eg volumising gel and hairspray. It's perfect for my fine grey/white hair. It's very rich, only need a 10p size amount; best if rubbed between fingers then applied to hair. I like the fresh slightly earthy/green smell, and find it soothes an itchy/irritated scalp. I also use the conditioner, perfect pairing.

Kind to my scalp which is always itchy after medical treatment. I’ve struggled to find a shampoo that is as good as this.

I used this product years ago and it was the best shampoo I had ever used. Aveda discontinued it to my dismay, but reintroduced it a couple of years ago to my delight. It is very moisturising and makes the hair shiny and bouncy.
