Saloon Round Mirror

I thought I'd found the perfect mirror for my coastal themed living room, but am returning it. It's described as black but more like am orange rusted black. Not a biggy, but different all the same. Also I thought the quality wasn't of M&S standard and again, not as the picture. I like rustic and non perfection but this mirror looked poorly put together. You could see the metal frame join as it didn't match up but this is on the bottom inner edge. You can also see the rough edge of the glass through gaps in the glass and metal frame. The rope makes the mirror way too long for my fireplace wall. The total length when hung is over a meter with the rope almost being as long as the mirror itself. It just looked odd. I turned it upside down so there was less rope to hang but this looked odd too. All in all, it didn't live up to expectation so the hunt continues.

Interested to hear other reviewers thoughts! I love the style but this mirror is Brown and not Black which unfortunately won’t go with other hanging pieces in my hallway. Also one of the screws on the back is broken! I phoned customer services who said this is the only colour they do but I can’t believe it can be sold as black?!

Great look for good price, can’t fault it except perhaps ability to alter hanging strap if necessary.

I love my mirror, everyone comments on it. It’s a little expensive but great quality, heavy and a good size. Can be difficult to hang plus sits a little of the wall. Overall an excellent purchase

The mirror is of good quality although the string length is long so you'll need to have a tall ceiling and it's reasonably heavy. Good size though and good value for money.

Delighted with this Saloon style mirror which i purchased in my local store yesterday.Great design and very vintage in appearance.The natural string used for hanging it is particularly effective.
