Can be used as directed to wash away with cloth once rubbed in, but also wonderfully rich to leave on dry skin. A delicious rose smell. Well worth the price, even better to wait for a 20% off.

Very good cleansing balm. Unlike some others, I have found the packaging easy to operate. It has quite a strong rose fragrance which I love but it doesn't irritate my skin at all. Highly recommended.

tried this in store with a representative and was so impressed I brought the double pack which was on offer and the cleansing gel complements this, To double cleanse my face I thought would be a chore but I was wrong. This is so soft and smooth it is a pleasure to use and my skin is clean and soft afterwards. My friend asked me what I was using and she has also brought the two products, and like me also uses the face cream to suit skin type due to the samples to be able to try first. never waste my money on trying other products again. But you do have to watch as M & S do change the price of this sometimes to double, hence my second purchase was from amazon, but back to M & S for my 3rd and 4th purchase

I cannot recommend this product enough. It smells fantastic. A little goes a long way - the price may look steep but you only need a half centimetre of the product (make sure you warm in palm of hands first). It really does remove all your make up but is a great cleanser even if you don't wear makeup. The smell is lovely it seems to help you relax at night very calming, yet also set you up for the day in the morning. I have begun to buy this as gift for friends and family because it so good and a daily essential/treat. Lasts a long time if you follow instructions ... even better when there is a deal on REN products.....

If you are after something rich and indulgent for your skin then this is the one for you! A cheaper alternative to the Emma Hardy balm but feels just as nice. Removed all my makeup and left my skin feel amazing! I followed it up with the glycolatic mask - also a firm favourite!

Heavy make up removed so easily

I wear heavy up everyday and used to spend ages using two or three different make up removers each night. This REN balm cleanser is amazing! A little bit removes every last trace of my make up. And the muslin cloth it comes with leaves my skin so soft and smooth. Smells lovely and does its job so well. Another REN product I can't live without.

Thought I would try the Cleansing Balm for a change. (I usually buy REN Hot Cloth Cleanser). A couple of pounds more expensive than the hot cloth but I like the texture and the smell is divine. It really does do what it says on the box and removes ALL makeup including waterproof mascara. The teeny cloth that is included is a waste of time so I use muslin cloths that I already have instead, not a problem. I will probably buy this again but will wait for a beauty money off promo.

This cleanser smells fantastic, calming and feels soothing. Excellent for sensitive and red skin. It has calmed down my rosy red ( sore ) cheeks within a week
