Ribbed Glass Table Lamp

I bought this as a bedside lamp and when I first saw it I thought it would be a little big. It doesn't come with a bulb but that was clear on the description so I had one ready. Lovely soft light and classy looking lamp. I love it.

Lovely lamp which gives a pretty, soft light.

This lamp is lovely. It makes an eye-catching centrepiece on a coffee table, or alternatively sits nicely in the corner of a room. Tried with a clear bulb, which is a bit bright if you're sitting close to it (but would be good for reading). Will experiment with a soft bulb, perhaps lower wattage, for a gentler effect. Only slight downside is that the cord is a little on the short side so the lamp needs to be placed very near to an electrical socket.

Very nice looking lamp & looks better than in catalogue. slight problems putting it together & taking off safety packaging from wiring/plug. Shame that there were no fitting instructions & that it did not come with a light bulb as then had to go round shops (M&S don't sell them) to find light that fitted.
